Honorary Member

An Honorary Member is a person who has given valuable and distinguished service to the architectural profession or has scrupulously upheld the objects of the Association. Honorary Members are elected by the membership at the OAA Annual General Meeting. 

Eligibility
An individual must have:

  • given valuable and distinguished service to the architectural profession; 

  • scrupulously upheld the objects of the Association;

  • been recommended by a member of the OAA

  • been nominated by OAA Council; and

  • been elected by the membership at the OAA Annual General Meeting.

Benefits

Honorary Members:

  • receive a Certificate of Honorary Membership; and

  • are acknowledged to both the membership and the general public after the AGM.
