The OAA is governed by an elected Council of 15 Architects, a Licensed Technologist OAA, and an Intern Architect, as well as up to five members of the public.

The OAA Headquarters is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but all staff are working remotely and are accessible through telephone and email.
