Awards

The OAA Awards runs on a two-year cycle. It includes the Design Excellence Awards, Best Emerging Practice, and career achievement awards (like the Lifetime Design Achievement and the Medal of Service) in even years (2024, 2026, etc.) alternating with SHIFT Challenge program in odd years. (2025, 2027 etc.)

The SHIFT2025 Challenge - Reshaping Communities asks the profession to explore how we can develop sustainable solutions that address the challenges posed by climate change and social shifts. The Call for Entries is now open with a deadline of January 17, 2025. Complete details can be found on the SHIFT Website. Submit to the program using the ONLINE FORM.
