OAA Technology Program to be Fully Integrated into the Association

For 18 years, suitably qualified technologists have been licensed by the OAA as Licensed Technologists OAA, with rights and obligations analogous to other OAA members. During this time, the Ontario Association for Applied Architectural Sciences (OAAAS) has operated and administered the certification program technologists must complete to achieve OAA licensure.

The OAAAS Board of Directors and OAA Council have agreed it is now appropriate to dissolve OAAAS and fully integrate its administration and operation into the OAA. To learn more about the reasoning, the transition period, and the path forward, click here to read the December 2021 message from OAA President Susan Speigel and OAAAS President Rick Mateljan.
