The OAA is proud to announce the individuals selected for its 2022 Design Excellence and Service Award Juries.
The Design Excellence Jury, led by facilitator Jon Hobbs (retired member), includes:
- Kathryn Firth (Arup);
- Nina-Marie E. Lister (professor and graduate program director of Ryerson University’s School of Urban + Regional Planning);
- Brian Rudy (Moriyama & Teshima Architects);
- Stephen Teeple (Teeple Architects); and
- Deborah Wang (curator and artistic director of Design TO).
The Service Awards Jury, led by facilitator Patrick Saavedra (architect and director of planning and renovations at York University), includes:
- the OAA President (to be elected at January 20 Council meeting);
- Curtis Berkenbosch (architect and chair of the Algoma Society of Architects);
- Gordon Hunt (ARK); and
- Diana Osborne (Osborne Architect).

Applications are still open for the 2022 OAA Awards Program, celebrating the best in design, innovation, and other significant career achievements in the architecture profession. The deadline has been extended until January 17.
