G. Randy Roberts Service Award and Honor Roll Recipients Named

The OAA has announced the winner of its G. Randy Roberts Service Award. Congratulations to David Croft, FRAIC, who spent more than three decades as Vice President of Claims at Pro-Demnity Insurance Co. (and the Indemnity Plan before that). Croft, who retired late last year, built a reputation as a tireless defender of architectural practices and a reliable source of knowledge in architecture, construction, insurance, and human nature.

Croft was selected by this year’s jury, which also chose to add four names to the OAA’s Honour Roll, which recognizes prominent members of the architectural profession who are now deceased.

This year’s Honour Roll inductees are (left to right):

Anthony Butler;
John Anthony Griffiths;
Barry Wayne Sampson; and
Carlos A. Ventin.

The honourees will be recognized at a free recognition event taking place as part of the 2021 Virtual Conference.
