2025 ACO Heritage Awards

A celebration of excellence in heritage conservation, honouring outstanding leaders, projects and initiatives across Ontario.

Since 2007, the Architectural Conservancy Ontario (ACO) Heritage Awards have honoured the incredible people, projects and initiatives making outstanding contributions to heritage conservation across Ontario. The ACO strives to bring province-wide attention to the achievements of its award nominees. Their work provides an example for others and is marked by innovative strategies, long-term leadership, significant restoration work and worthy service safeguarding Ontario’s built heritage.

ACO's 19th annual Heritage Awards will be taking place at the Old Mill in Toronto. Located across from the Humber River in Toronto's west end, The Old Mill opened in 1914 and is home to the city’s oldest restaurant in continuous operation at the same location. Built adjacent to the ruins of the original 'Old Mill', destroyed by fire in 1881, it forms part of a rich industrial heritage in the area dating back to the late 18th century.

Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. Tickets will also be available for sale at the door.

Join us for an inspiring evening celebrating the outstanding leaders, projects and initiatives from across Ontario helping to conserve our architectural heritage.

Awards will be given in 11 categories, from advocacy and public education to restoration and adaptive reuse.
