Options for Members Licensed in More than One Canadian Jurisdiction
If an OAA member is licensed in Ontario, ConEd activities must be reported to the OAA using the Continuing Education transcript.
If an OAA member is licensed in more than one Canadian jurisdiction, there are two reporting options.
Option 1
Report ConEd activities to the OAA using the Continuing Education transcript.
Option 2
Report continuing education activities to any of the following Canadian jurisdictions that have equivalency in place with the OAA:
-
Alberta Association of Architects (AAA);
-
Architect’s Association of New Brunswick (AANB);
-
Architects Association of Prince Edward Island (AAPEI);
-
Manitoba Association of Architects (MAA);
-
Architects Licensing Board of Newfoundland and Labrador (ALBNL);
-
Northwest Territories Association of Architects (NWTAA); and
-
Saskatchewan Association of Architects (SAA).
If an OAA member has chosen Option 2, they must complete the Primary Jurisdiction Declaration Form and return it to the OAA 30 days prior to the end of the Continuing Education cycle. A separate form must be submitted to OAAConEd@oaa.on.ca for each cycle.
