Pelham set to build new zero-carbon library with $5.4M federal grant

The Town of Pelham is about to have many more stories to tell after receiving a $5.4-million grant from the federal government to use towards building a zero-carbon library.

Funding for the library came from the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings program, designed to help Canada reach its goal of being carbon neutral by 2050.

“Today’s announcement for the new Pelham library will ensure that all residents have access to a modern facility where they can safely connect and learn for many years to come,” said Vance Badawey, MP for Niagara Centre.
