Voting is currently underway for four seats on the OAA’s
governing Council. (For Eastern Ontario,
Lara J. McKendrick has already been acclaimed.) Those chosen by the membership will each serve a three-year term beginning in January 2024, and will join previously elected architects and Lieutenant Governor in Council (LGIC) appointees in serving the public interest and guiding the Association. Polls close on
November 27.
For the City of Toronto (two seats), seven members are running:
- Svenn Erik Andersen;
- Stephanie Au;
- Barry R. Cline;
- David Peterson;
- Anna Richter;
- Yu Hong (Rachel) Sun; and
- Edward (Ted) K. Watson.
For the Province of Ontario (two seats), seven members are running:
- Sam Alkabra;
- Nasser Amer;
- J. William Birdsell;
- Nassouh (Neo) Mahfouz;
- Clayton Payer;
- Kristiana Schuhmann; and
- Magid Youssef.
