As part of this year’s Doors Open Toronto, which will take place May 27 to 28, the Toronto Society of Architects (TSA) has organized three special programs reflecting on this year’s theme, City of Sound, including a public panel discussion, architectural studio tours and a one-hour walking tour.
Doors Open Toronto is organized by the City of Toronto in partnership with the community which provides rare public access for one weekend only to architecturally and culturally significant buildings across the city. It will feature more than 140 sites for exploration, walking tours and more.
The events include:
- Architects Talk: Listening to Spaces on Sunday, May 28, 2 p.m. at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema, 506 Bloor St. W.
- The Shape and Sound of Performance Walking Tour on Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 at the Entertainment District (starting point is in front of the Royal Alexandra Theatre).
- Open Studio on Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28 at various locations across Toronto.
