This weekend marks the official start of the 14th season of the Toronto Society of Architects' Walking Tours—their popular summer initiative inviting Torontonians and visitors alike to explore the stories behind the city’s buildings and landscapes through fun and informative tours.
The 2024 season runs from the first weekend of June to the last weekend of October (three extra weeks this year!), with tours offered at varied times every Saturday and Sunday. All tours are 90-120 minutes in length and cost $15 per person. This year, the TSA is offering 10 unique thematic tours exploring a wide variety of topics and neighbourhoods: from the evolution of the skyscraper to waterfront revitalization, the growth of cultural institutions and questions of tangible and intangible heritage. And for 2024, they are thrilled to announce the return of our subway hop-on, hop-off tour: Art & Architecture on the Spadina Line!
