TSA CONNECT Series
In May, we are doing two online networking sessions as part of TSA CONNECT – our signature networking event for young professionals, emerging practitioners and newcomers. Our first one was a real success and we found it interesting to see different the audience was than usual – a lot more breadth in demographics perhaps showing how everyone is really looking for opportunities to connect professionally. We’ll be doing 2 more in June, with one reflecting on LGBTQ2I issues.
TSA CONNECT | Session 2
Session 2, happening on May 6 at 7:00 PM, will feature: Anya Moryoussef, OAA, Director and founder, Anya Moryoussef Architect Gail Borthwick, Principal, Zeidler Janna Levitt, Partner and co-founder, LGA Architecture Titka Seddighi, Associate Director and Practice Lead, Architecture, IBI Group. The event is free for TSA members, and $5 for non-members. Student membership is free.

TSA CONNECT | Session 3
Session 3, happening on May 20 at 7:00 PM, will feature: Christine Lolley, Principal and co-founder, Solares Architecture Inc. Kelly Buffey OAA FRAIC, Principal, Akb (more guests to be announced as confirmed!). . The event is free for TSA members, and $5 for non-members. Student membership is free.

TSA HOME TOURS
Starting last week we also launched the home tours series, as series of live-stream tours of homes design by architects for themselves. It was a huge success with hundreds of viewers on our first tour so far and we are doing more in May and June.
Our next scheduled one is May 28 at noon. We’ll have the details up on our website today.
The previous one is now available on the TSA’s IGTV and can be accessed without signing in - it was a tour of a really lovely Mississauga home designed by Joey Giaimo (a great guide btw!).
Technical Series
Last but not least we are launching an online version of our technical series, the lectures exploring issues of practice and business in architecture.
Our first one is happening on May 27 and is titled Place Branding Through Architecture. The event is 1 hour in length and we’ll be providing certificates for structured learning hours.
It is free for TSA members and $10 for non members.
