All those with OAA status were emailed their Annual Individual Renewal notices in December, along with payment information. (Renewals for Practices will be issued later this month.) A late penalty fee of $177 will be applied to architects if payment has not been received prior to March 1. If payment has not been received by April 1, you may be subject to cancellation of licence and/or lapsing of status.

If you have not yet paid, you can do so through the Individual Renewal Webpage. (Reminder: Individual and Practice Renewals are separate systems, each requiring separate logins.)

In addition to renewing your status with the Association, you are also encouraged to join or renew your membership with your Local Architectural Society through the link above.

It is the responsibility of all members to ensure they are checking their emails regularly and staying up to date on OAA correspondences. If you need to change your email on file with the OAA, contact the Office of the Registrar.

Preparing for Practice Online Annual Fee billing
The Annual Practice Renewal notice will be sent via email shortly. Certificate of Practice holders will receive an email in mid-January to notify when the 2024 invoice is ready; the message will include a link to the site. This email will be sent to your current email on file. It is important to remember your Practice account is different from your Individual account.

You will need to use your Practice information to log into the Practice Invoice. You can retrieve your information by looking at last year’s Practice invoice for the unique OAA ID. Your username is OAA followed by the ID number.
