Michael Evamy Architectural Scholarship Now Open for Applications

Canadian architecture firm Dialog is now accepting applications for its 2025 Architectural Scholarship in Honour of Michael Evamy cycle. The scholarship, valued at $5,000, supports Canadian architecture students pursuing a meaningful research project within their field. An additional $3,000 is available to cover project-related expenses, such as travel.

Established to honour the legacy of architect Michael Evamy, AAA, FRAIC, RCA as a passionate advocate for design excellence, the scholarship provides an opportunity for students to deepen their expertise while contributing to architectural practice. Eligible applicants are OAA Student Associates and Canadian students enrolled in a professional architecture degree program at a Canadian school, specifically in the year prior to their final year of study.

Applicants must submit a detailed project proposal, outlining objectives, methodology, schedule, and budget. A portfolio showcasing previous design work and three letters of reference demonstrating leadership and commitment to the field are also required. Successful applicants must use the funds within one year of receiving the award and present their findings at a DIALOG-organized talk.

Submissions can be made via mail or electronically by 11:59 p.m. MT on April 1, 2025. For questions and electronic submission instructions, please contact Heather Goddard and Diego Morettin. Click "Read More" below for more information.
