This fall, OAA President Settimo Vilardi, along with local Councillors and Executive Director Kristi Doyle, will co-host virtual sessions with the Local Architectural Societies.
In the spirit of increasing the collaboration between the Association and its Societies, as well as between the Societies themselves, this year’s Zoom meetings will include a review of the new Society Toolkit—a direct result of the Society Chairs’ meeting held in Sudbury earlier this year. As usual, there will also be open discussions, sharing and networking.
Society members should contact their local Chair about attending during the following dates:
- September 13 at 6 pm: Northumberland-Durham Society of Architects (NDSA), Northwestern Ontario Society of Architects (NWOSA), and Windsor Region Society of Architects (WRSA);
- October 11 at 12 pm: Algoma Society of Architects, St. Lawrence Valley Society of Architects (SLVSA), and Toronto Society of Architects (TSA);
- October 17 at 12 pm: London Society of Architects (LSA), Niagara Society of Architects (NSA), and Northern Ontario Society of Architects (NOSA); and
- October 30 at 12 pm: Hamilton/Burlington Society of Architects (HBSA) and North Bay Society of Architects (NBSA).
Grand Valley Society of Architects (GVSA), Ottawa Regional Society of Architects (ORSA), and Trent Society of Architects are still being confirmed.
