John R. Blums, Life Member
April 20, 1940 — December 7, 2024

On December 7, John stamped his last design. Born in Jelgava Latvia, Hamilton became his home in January 1950 and architecture his eventual passion. He is now reunited with his parents, Rheinhold and Velta and his sister, Zinta at Bay Gardens, Burlington.

Missing his love, humour, wit and unique perspective on life are his high school sweetheart and wife, Jane; their sons, Jay and Joel whose families were always a joy to John; and his nephew, Mark and niece Laura to whom John was like a father. A private family internment will occur.
