Bruce Berglund, Life Member
1944 — June 27, 2024

With deep sadness we share the passing of Bruce. He married Judith in Sweden in 1971 while travelling across Europe for a year in their Bedford van. His greatest sources of joy were his children Kristian (Sarah), Julia (Caleb), Tyler (Shannon) and his grandson Erik. He had fond memories of growing up in Dawson Creek B.C. playing hockey, baseball, hunting and fishing with his dad. Graduated from McGill in architecture and later founded Doors Pub in Hamilton. He loved spoiling his cats, drives to Port Dover, gardening, playing in the Ancaster Veterans Slo-Pitch league, science and space exploration, debating politics and fishing with his buddy Jim on Lake Erie. He enjoyed yearly trips to Nova Scotia to visit family and friends and admire the natural beauty of the Maritimes. The family would like to thank the Nephrology team at St. Joseph's Hospital for their superb care.
