Opportunities for Practices: Virtual Co-Op Placements

TDSB is seeking practices and firms to provide virtual co-op opportunities for senior SHSM students who require cooperative education as one of the components to graduate. The exact number of hours, schedule and duration can vary depending on the student’s timetable (with extra flexibility due to COVID-19 restrictions) and would be determined in collaboration with the co-op teacher with the general goal of exposing students to what working in an architecture studio might look like. These placements are unpaid, with students receiving credits required for graduation upon successful completion of the program.

You can learn more about Experiential Learning  at TDSB on their website, as well as in this TDSB brochure on coop educationand the Cooperative Education Supervisor’s Manual.

Does this sound like the right fit for your practice? Fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch to further discuss how this might work with your studio!
