Submissions are now open for the 2023 Canadian Architect Awards of Excellence.

For 56 years, the magazine’s national awards program has focused on projects in the design stage. Architects and architectural graduates in Canada, as well as foreign architects collaborating with a Canadian-registered architect, are invited to showcase their work on buildings designed in Canada and abroad.

Projects must be in design, under construction, or scheduled for construction by September 7. Submitted projects must be commissioned by a client with the intention to build the submitted proposal. All building types and concise urban design schemes will be considered.

The deadline for entries is September 11.

In addition to architectural design, this year's competition also features the sixth annual Canadian Architect Photo Awards of Excellence, which challenges architectural photographers to showcase their best images of a Canadian building.
