Registration for this year's International Architectural Roundtable, "Design Solutions for the Housing Crisis," is now open to those with OAA status, free of charge.
The roundtable will be hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building on
Wednesday, November 29, from 9 am to 10:30 am, as part of
The Buildings Show. Co-sponsored by the OAA, this session brings together esteemed architects from around the globe to explore innovative design solutions to address global housing needs.
Moderated by architectural writer and critic Adele Weder, "Design Solutions for the Housing Crisis" will feature distinguished panelists including U.K. architect Alison Brooks (Alison Brooks Architects), Italian architect Alfonso Femia (Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia), and Canadian architects Janna Levitt (LGA Architectural Partners), and Ouri Scott (Urban Arts Architecture Inc.). Together, they will delve into the challenges posed by the housing crisis, examine the current state of housing in different regions, and discuss strategies for creating more equitable, sustainable, and healthy housing options.
