Artificial Intelligence Tools and your Practice: List of Resources

Practice Advisory Services (PAS) continues to monitor the evolving impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning on day-to-day practice operations. A curated reading list has been created to provide ongoing updates and insights.

At recent Practice Resource Committee (PRC) meetings, the group discussed the opportunities and risks posed by AI tools. Members are encouraged to review and update their protocols and policies regarding AI—particularly in the areas of:

  • Copyright and Intellectual Property;
  • Confidential Information and Privacy; and
  • Cybersecurity and Data Protection.

Legal counsel should be involved to ensure compliance and ethical use. These issues may also warrant discussion with clients and consultants.

Note: This article appeared in its original form in the July 2025 edition of the Practice Advisory newsletter and continues to be updated with new information.

For further context and informed decision-making, practices can consult a selection of third-party articles. These resources do not necessarily reflect the views of the OAA or its governing Council but are provided for general awareness. The list will be updated as developments unfold.
