Newcomer in Architecture Information Session 2022

Are you an internationally trained architect and new to Canada? Wondering about where to start when obtaining your license? Looking for resources and someone to help? We’ve got your back!

Join us for a special information session with representatives of the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) and the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) as they share some of the different paths to architecture licensure in Canada for internationally trained professionals. We’ll cover Academic Certification, the Broadly Experienced Foreign Architects Program, and existing mutual recognition treaties. Get your burning questions (and probably a few you haven’t even thought about!) answered as we review eligibility criteria, application requirements, and the benefits and challenges of different paths.

So, if you’re an internationally trained professional looking to continue your career in Canada, don’t miss out on this opportunity to get the inside scoop on the architectural licensing process and how you can become an architect in Canada!

For some handy resources to consult before and after the session, check out the TSA’s Resources for Internationally Trained Architectural Professionals!
