National Indigenous History Month and Solidarity Day 2022

The Law Society of Ontario is pleased to launch a series of Indigenous events starting on June 14, 2022, focused on “Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples,” as part of the Equity Legal Education Series.

The first program in the series will feature teachings from Elders, remarks from Randall Kahgee, Senior Counsel to Olthuis Kleer Townshend LLP, and personal reflections on the meaning of Indigenous Reconciliation from Jean Teillet, renowned Indigenous rights lawyer, teacher, and speaker. The program will also feature cultural performances showcasing the rich culture and traditions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities.
