Gingerbread is more fun with friends!
Join us for our first ever in-person gingerbread workshop for children 7+ as we design, build and create buildings for the Toronto Society of Architects' Kids Main Street as part of TSA Gingerbread City 2022.
Made specially for the youngest designers in the family, Kids' Main Street invites children to be part of Gingerbready City by designing and decorating their very own Main Street gingerbread facades—that is architecture speak for the front of a building. Facades will then be photographed and collaged together to create a new main street for our virtual village.
As part of this program, we are hosting two in-person workshops for children (7+) to help them create their gingerbread visions with the help of architects and gingerbread experts! Each session will be 2 hours long and includes all they need to make their edible creations—from the gingerbread cookie template to delicious decorations. At the end of the session, we will photograph all buildings so that they can be displayed as part of the TSA's virtual Main Street, and kids will be able to take their creations home.

Price: Free for TSA Members! (using code in most recent TSA Bulletin), $15+HST for Non Members (Limited spaces are available)

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS: When registering, please only get a ticket for your child's participation. Though one guardian must remain with the child throughout the program, there is no need to for a seperate ticket for the guardian. You'll have the opportunity to tell us during registration who will be joining us!
ALLERGIES AND FOOD SENSITIVITIES: Although the gingerbread is nut free and we will not use any nuts or nut products, we cannot guarantee that all the candy, decorations, or cookies we will use did not come in contact with nuts or other allergens.
