Comprising both elected architects and Lieutenant Governor-appointed representatives of the public, the governing Council of the OAA meets regularly, with Executive, Committee Chairs, and Association staff presenting updates on various programs and activities, and making decisions on a range of topics.
Meetings are held in a hybrid format, with Councillors attending in-person at the OAA Headquarters (or, for May, as part of the Conference in Niagara Falls) as well as through Zoom. OAA members or the public may attend the open portion of Council meetings virtually—contact the Association's Tina Carfa in advance of a meeting for more information. While there is not a set time for this open session, generally it takes place in the afternoon. (Click here and scroll to the bottom of the page for current and past agendas and meeting packages.).
