Architects DSDHA discuss their research and work on the topic of Spatial Justice which they have been developing with their Design Think Tank students at LSA. For this digital talk they are joined by current student Aarandeep Sian.
The first step towards Spatial Justice is recognising the imbalance in how our cities have been made and whom they represent. An extension of the long-held position by DSDHA that ‘the city is our client’.
Spatial Justice explores ways in which the city can facilitate justice through space, for everyone. In acknowledging the value of people, it seeks to take measures to redress injustices by creating a fair and equitable distribution in space of socially valued resources and the opportunities to use them.
Following the presentation there will be a Q&A moderated by Lara Kinneir, Director LSA Labs
