The CCA announces the launch of Observation Is a Constant That Underlies All Approaches, the latest book by CCA’s Founding Director Emeritus Phyllis Lambert. Published by Lars Müller Publishers (Zurich), the book moves through 338 personal photographs, taken by Lambert during her everyday routines, while at work, or throughout her vacations and travels to China, India, the Near East, Europe, and North America, since the 1950s until today. Gathered together for the first time in this book, the photographs have been curated by multidisciplinary artist David Cyrenne.
To mark the launch, the CCA invites you to a
conversation on 2 March at 6:30pm EST between Phyllis Lambert and CCA’s Curator of Photography and New Media, Hester Keijser. The event is also
live-streamed.
