City of Toronto Resources for New Developments and Innovative Energy Projects

The City of Toronto’s TransformTO Net Zero Strategy sets out ambitious goals to reduce the emissions of new buildings by increasing sources of renewable and low-carbon energy. In this webinar, representatives from the City of Toronto’s Environment and Climate Division will share how the City is working towards these goals and spotlight resources that are available to the community. Topics discussed will include the Toronto Green Standard, SolarTO, district energy, and wastewater energy.

Julia Bevacqua is a Project Lead on the Public Energy Initiatives – New Developments team at the City of Toronto’s Environment & Climate Division. She applies her interdisciplinary experience in business, communications, and urban planning to a diverse range of energy-related programs at the City of Toronto, including SolarTO and the Toronto Green Standard.
