September 2023 will mark the
10th anniversary of the McEwen School of Architecture, which welcomed its charter class in Sep. 2013. To mark the occasion, the McEwen School of Architecture will be organizing a number of special activities throughout the year.
Sep. 8th
The festivities will kick off in the first week of the academic year with a special lecture by
Janna Levitt (of LGA Architectural Partners, who designed our magnificent, multi-award-winning building, recognized by ArchDaily as one of the 15 most inspiring Schools in the world to study architecture). The lecture will take place in the Lecture Hall on
Friday September 8 at 5:30pm. Janna Levitt will talk about the design of our School and other educational buildings. A panel discussion will follow the lecture. More information will be provided shortly - stay tuned!
Sep. 9th
The festivities continue the following day, Saturday,
September 9th, with a celebration in the
Crit Pit and Atrium. It all kicks off at
6:00 p.m. with a few brief speeches, and everything continues into the evening as guests are invited to celebrate in a festive atmosphere. Further details on this
10-year anniversary party will be revealed in the near future - stay tuned!
