TIME: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Explore how you can become a design ally for people with disabilities. Universal Design or Design-for-All is a design approach that benefits both people with disabilities and anyone else. Make acquaintance with Universal Design. Learn how different terms result in different degrees of meaningful access. Review how the National Building code is a legal minimum that is anemic in barrier-free design. Explore trusted sources of architectural information that can guide your practice so your projects can made Canada as inclusive as possible.
