Session Abstract:
This webinar is designed to provide a brief overview of the Occupation Health and Safety Act (OHSA), with a particular focus on how its relates to Architects. Participants will explore the their specific responsibilities in identifying and preventing hazards, risks, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. It will provide an overview of the risks of non-compliance. It will also provide an overview of support available to achieve and maintain compliance.

About the Speaker:
Pushpa Poisson, CRSP, MS, BSc, Licenced Paralegal has over 25 years of experience in managing Environmental Health and Safety. She has a with a well-established history of enabling leadership and decision-makers to cultivate safe and productive environments that support business growth and profitability. She demonstrates consistent strategic thinking to ensure compliance and risk mitigation in relation to Audits, Occupational Health and Safety Act, OSHA, Labour Code Part II, WSIB, WCB, CNESST, DOT, and the Ministry of Transportation.
