Session Abstract:

The role of architecture in shaping equitable communities involves creating inclusive, accessible spaces that address diverse needs, promote social justice, and foster collaboration with marginalized groups.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Apply advanced strategies for equity in design projects.
  • Master techniques for inclusive, community-driven collaboration.
  • Formulate solutions to overcome systemic barriers in architecture. 

About the Speaker:

Hassan Khan is a dynamic Project Director at AsemBl Design and Construction and an Adjunct Professor at Fanshawe College in Toronto, where he passionately teaches Construction Project Management. With a Degree in Architecture and a PMP certification, Hassan combines academic rigor with practical expertise. As a dedicated member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), he advocates for innovation, sustainability, and mentorship in the industry. His commitment to empowering the next generation of construction professionals shapes both his students and the future of architecture.
