Session Abstract:
The built environment has a part to play in removing, reducing, and mitigating experiences of exclusion from the everyday lived experiences of all people who use space. Gensler's Kevin Katigbak will take a deep dive into Inclusive Design strategies and leverage the latest research to explore how we can more intentionally create spaces to foster the conditions for broader experiences of inclusion, equity, and belonging.

About the Speakers:
Kevin Katigbak, Prosci, LEED AP, Strategy Director, Principal, Gensler
As a Principal and Strategy Director in Gensler’s Toronto office, Kevin leads teams that focus on developing real estate and workplace strategies to support businesses and communities, as well as on creating programs to help organizations manage the changes associated with new technologies and workplace settings. For more than a decade, Kevin has worked with innovative companies to help create and implement high-performance, people-focused workplaces that leverage both changing technologies and shifting employee expectations. With a professional background that combines architecture, communications, user research, and business strategy, Kevin brings a broad skill set, multidisciplinary perspective, and rigorous analytical process to each project. Kevin holds a Master of Science, Environmental Design & Engineering from The Bartlett, University College London.
