Today, we're featuring drawings and sketches by Pouya Fatoureh Chi.
Description:
"About five years ago, I was inspired by the works of M.C. Escher and the game Monument Valley. I began exploring ways to express my ideas on paper by combining fantastical elements and metaphysical architecture with the spirit of Brutalism. My focus was on creating a sense of labyrinthine complexity, where forms challenge perception and space feels both surreal and structured. Since I drew these sketches during the same period, I saw them as a cohesive set, each piece relating to the others in tone, theme, and spatial language."
