In the fall of 2021, the OAA Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion and Truth & Reconciliation Working Group presented 40 recommendations to Council before that group sunset its operations. These suggestions were all accepted by OAA Council, with Association staff beginning their immediate implementation.

The items were based on seven recommendations from the Truth & Reconciliation Working Group’s final report as well as the 14 recommendations from the OAA Roundtables summary report, prepared by NSB Consulting.
