The OAA supports the use of industry standard documents. The use of standard documents allows the parties to concentrate on project specific issues without having to worry about boilerplate sections. To that end, the OAA developed several standard contracts for use with clients and subconsultants which balance the needs of the parties.

The OAA contract suite is organized numerically and each contract comes in variants for Architects and for Licensed Technologists. OAA 900-2021 is the latest form agreement to be used between an OAA certificate of practice holder and a subconsultant.

There are corresponding usage Guides with instructions for the various contracts which, provide background information about how to fill in and use the contracts. Please ensure you are familiar with all the documents provided below before using this subcontract.
