The RAIC’s Canadian Handbook of Practice (CHOP) Edition 3, Chapter 6.4: Construction Documents along with the many appendices to the chapter is an excellent reference relating to the intent and preparation of the drawings, specifications, schedules and other documents that comprise construction documentation.
Canadian Construction Documents Committee (CCDC) is best known for its construction contracts. To coordinate better between specifications and contract, CCDC publishes CCDC 00-2018 Master Specification for Division 00-2018: Procurement and Contracting Requirements, and CCDC 01-2020 Master Specification for Division 01-2020 General Requirements.
