We are looking for a Revit/AutoCAD specialist, at $70-90k/yr, with experience in residential wood frame drafting. In addition to managing and developing internal office production standards and infrastructure, they will work in production drafting and rendering on multiple house and multi-unit residential projects. It is available immediately as a permanent position.
Craig Race Architecture Inc. is a sole proprietorship, focused on sustainable, custom residential architecture. Our work is adventurous and contemporary in style. We specialize in unique urban infill projects, such as laneway houses, infill homes, and small multi-unit buildings. Passive environmentalism and contextual sensitivity fuel our design process.
Our ideal applicant has a minimum of 3 years drafting small and medium scale residential projects with knowledge of Part 9 of the OBC. Experience with sustainable building enclosures, minor variance approvals, and contract administration will be highly valued. They will report to a project manager, collaborate with other drafts people, and delegate to coop staff. They will be expected to undertake production, as well as coordinate consultants and municipal approvals when required.
Qualifications

Min. 3 years experience on small / medium scale residential projects

AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, part 9 and 3

CACB accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree
