Location: Toronto, ON [Junction]
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate/October 2025 [flexible]
Salary Range: $55 - $65K CAD annually, commensurate with experience
Schedule: Min. 37.5 hours per week [in-studio]

The Role

We are currently seeking a full-time, in-person Junior Intern Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated collaborator eager to take initiative and grow in a fast-paced, supportive studio environment.

You’ll work on finely crafted residential projects through all phases—from design development to construction—within a highly detailed, collaborative setting. Experience in small to medium-sized firms specializing in custom residential work is considered a strong asset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to fully engage in high-quality design and help shape both the work and studio culture.

 

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree from a recognized Architecture program

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant [post-graduate] professional experience

  • Strong design sensibility and a high level of attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam [required]

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Excel, Rhino & Enscape

  • Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and local zoning bylaws

  • Experience preparing drawing sets for permit, pricing, and construction

  • Understanding of residential construction methods, materials, and detailing [asset]

  • Experience coordinating with engineering consultants

  • Strong time management and problem-solving abilities

  • Organized, self-directed, and committed to ongoing professional growth

  • Thoughtful, adaptable, and open-minded team player

  • Prior experience with modern residential projects at reputable practices [asset]
