The ConEd Program requirements are established in the Regulation 27 under the Architects Act.
Architects must record in their Transcript 70 hours of learning (minimum of 25 hours of Structured Learning). Additionally, OAA Council approved a new requirement for the mandatory 2022–2024 Continuing Education cycle: a minimum of two structured learning hours focused on Climate Action. Learn more here.
An individual who has attended and recorded continuing education activities and accumulated a surplus of learning hours is permitted to carry over a limited number of hours to the next reporting cycle: 10 Structured and 20 Unstructured Learning hours.
