Last year, the OAA secured viewing access for all licensed members to CSA Standards referenced in the National and Ontario building codes through CSA OnDemand. CSA standards are an important reference tool to ensure design and construction meet building code requirements. In upholding its responsibility to serve the public interest, the OAA provides access to the pertinent standards to ensure prohibitive costs are not a barrier to access.

If you signed up for the OAA’s CSA Standards Access Program, you may have already received an automated email from CSA about renewing your subscription. There are no actions to be taken at this time. The OAA is in negotiations with the CSA about extending the trial program for another year. The Association will either announce an extension of the existing program (and the steps to take) or subscriptions will expire on their anniversary date. Members will be advised over the weeks to come.
