The OAA is thrilled to unveil the year’s first new post of the popular annual blOAAg series, Summer Sketches. It kicks off with work from a special freehand sketching session held at the OAA Conference in Sudbury this past spring. This workshop was led by Joel Berman, founder of Berman Architecture, a Chicago-based firm specializing in hospitality, adaptive reuse, food production, and residential development.
“Sketching is a graphic language that I use to communicate design concepts and strategies in a more focused and faster way than words,” Joel says. “When I sketch, I relax and rebalance.” To see the new post, as well as ones from past years, visit the OAA Website.
