CSA has a public consultation open until May 15, 2024 for AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440, North American Fenestration Standard/Specification for Windows, Doors, and Skylights (Amendment), which establishes performance requirements for those products and assemblies, including their components and materials.
The primary purpose of this standard/specification is to enable end-product performance evaluation as may be required for certain U.S. and Canadian model building codes for windows, doors, secondary storm products (SSPs), tubular daylighting devices (TDDs), roof windows, and unit skylights. Performance-based product comparison, durability assessment, and technical issues related to certification programs are secondary purposes.
