The OAA is encouraged by the provincial government’s introduction of Bill 131, Transportation for the Future Act, 2023. By promoting transit-oriented development, this proposed legislation signals the government’s commitment to the creation of complete communities. The Association strongly believes housing affordability should not come at the expense of protected green space and that Bill 131 is a step in the right direction.
