The following Canadian Construction Document Committee (CCDC) documents were published on November 29, 2023 and are now available:

• CCDC 2MA-2023 “Master Agreement between Owner and Contractor” and “Work Authorization;”
• CCDC 4-2023 “Unit Price Contract;” and
• CCDC 18-2023 “Civil Works Contract.”

These three documents have been revised to incorporate the changes that were implemented in CCDC 2-2020. This includes the Ready-for-Takeover milestone, provisions addressing early occupancy and payment legislations, among others. Along with the three new publications come four new copyright seals: one each for CCDC 4, 18, 2MA, and 2MA Work Authorization.

The previous versions of these documents will still be available for purchase for a one-year transition period. You can refer to the CCA announcement for further information regarding the new documents and how to order them.
