The Canada Council for the Arts is seeking proposals for bold, inspiring, and challenging exhibitions to serve as Canada’s official representation at the 19th International Architecture Exhibition: La Biennale di Venezia, to take place from May to November 2025. Held in Venice, Italy, the Biennale engages critical conversations about contemporary architecture and attracts 300,000 visitors annually.
Submit your expression of interest by November 15 at 11:59 pm PDT. The selected team will be responsible for all aspects of the exhibition, from conception and design to production. The Canada Council, as Commissioner, oversees Canada’s official participation, advises the selected team, and contributes $500,000 toward its exhibition production.
