The Canadian Board for Harmonized Construction Codes (CBHCC) – responsible for the development of Canada’s National Model Codes – is inviting applications for the position of Chair of the Advisory Council for Harmonized Construction Codes, beginning in January 2025.

The selected candidate will lead the Advisory Council in providing strategic advice on the National Model Codes’ policy issues, offering insights on code changes, and enhancing the understanding of the code development process. The Council—comprising industry representatives, municipal officials, and advocacy groups, among others—meets at least twice annually to offer guidance on strategic directions and emerging code matters.
