The Building Code Commission is seeking a part-time Vice Chair to join its adjudicative tribunal. The Commission seeks to resolve disputes related to the Building Code’s technical compliance, timelines for inspections and permit applications. The selected candidate will also be responsible for leading hearings, rendering decisions, and supporting the Commission’s operations, occasionally acting on behalf of the Chair.

Ideal candidates will have expertise in building design, engineering, or architecture, alongside strong conflict resolution skills and knowledge of the Building Code Act. Leadership, fairness, and a dedication to public interest are essential.
