Urban Minds, a Toronto-based non-profit empowering youth in city building, is seeking volunteer facilitators for the upcoming 1UP Toronto Conference 2025.

The opportunity will allow professionals to guide small groups of high school students in designing solutions for a real-world urban design challenge in the Greater Toronto Area. The 1UP Toronto Conference will take place on Sunday, March 30 from 10 AM to 5 PM.

To prepare for the event, all facilitators are required to attend a training session on Wednesday, March 19 from 6:30 PM to 8 PM at Perkins&Will’s Toronto office (110 Yonge St, 12th Floor, Toronto, ON M5C 1T4). The session will include a briefing on the Design Jam challenge, an introduction to the Design Thinking process, and a Facilitator’s Guide. Refreshments will also be provided.
